IMPORTANT INFORMATION

New Board Appointment:
We formally announce that Mr. Casper Cacioppo has resigned as Secretary from the Board of Directors of our HOA on February 27, 2025.  The Board wishes to express its sincere gratitude to Casper for his exemplary service to the HOA for nearly 14 years. He has been committed to excellence for our community and we are proud of his unwavering support. Casper has launched his second business and we all wish him success beyond measure!
Our management team as well as the other Board members notified our community of this vacancy and received interest in serving on the Board from several caring homeowners. The Board interviewed and discussed the roles and responsibility of the Board with all the candidates. Each candidate meet the qualifications for the Board. Ultimately, the Board choose the most qualified candidate and moved forward to appoint Judge Harriet Thompson (Retired) as successor to Casper Cacioppo as authorized by Article VIII Section 3 (Vacancy and Replacement) of our bylaws.

Message from Judge Harriet Thompson (Retired):
As a newly appointed member of the Board, it gives me great pleasure to act as an interim member until the next election of the Board. My legal background is extensive and for the sake of brevity, I want to share a snippet of my family background and my qualifications for service on the Board. I am from a blended family of Black and Cuban heritage. I was raised in Huntington, Long Island and earned a Baccalaureate degree from the State of New York at Plattsburg with honors and a Juris Doctor from Union University at Albany Law School. My first employment was for the State of New York in the Division of Housing and Community Renewal and in the City of New York as a lawyer for NYC employees at District Council 37 (MELS). I transitioned to private service with employment in two major real estate law firms in NYC and then opened my own law practice in 1993. I employed many underprivileged people by offering them full time and part time employment and mentorship. In 2011, I was elected as a judge of the Civil Court; appointed an Acting Supreme Court Judge including assigned to the Foreclosure Part in Kings County and lastly, was elected as one of the Surrogate Judges in Kings County in 2018. I retired from public service on March 1, 2023 after a legal battle against the Office of Court Administration which I ultimately won this year. As I faithfully served my clients and the public for nearly 40 year, I shall likewise use my legal expertise and personal skills to the best of my ability to assist the Board to improve our community.
